Originally a native of Southern California, April has now happily resided in Atlanta for several years. Before her career in real estate, April’s professional background was in Higher Education, where she dedicated nine rewarding years. Her continued passion to make an impact aligns with what drove her to real estate in the first place, the community.
Before moving to Atlanta in 2014, she spent six years in Virginia obtaining her BA in History from Hampton University and a master’s in Higher Education from Old Dominion University. April prides herself on being resourceful, diligent, and an empathic communicator. She uses these qualities in the home buying/selling process to ensure a client-centered approach and a satisfying experience.
What April finds most fascinating about Atlanta is that it is boredom-proof. We worked with April to buy our house this past summer and had a phenomenal experience. We are moving from Massachusetts so we started our search remotely / virtually, before visiting Atlanta for 3 days to tour houses in person. Leading up to our visit, April communicated with us regularly about the homes we were interested in, our plans and our itinerary. She put a lot of thought into our tour schedule to make sure we saw all the homes we were interested in, grouped by area to minimize cross-city driving and getting stuck in traffic, and working around our work and personal schedules. We also appreciated that she was extremely flexible and was able to change our itinerary last minute to make sure we toured a home that had been listed after she had already arranged all of our tours.Touring homes with her was a great time- she made the process fun and easy, was knowledgeable about the different neighborhoods we visited, and quickly reached out to agents and contractors in her network to get answers to any questions we had about different homes and work that we might want to have done. We also were touring with 2 toddlers, and she was extremely flexible with us needing to take breaks to accommodate them. She was also really great with the kids and made the long days super fun for them (and gave them balloons).Once we decided on the home we wanted, putting in our offer and the negotiation process was super quick, easy and stress-free, especially considering we were no longer in Atlanta. April explained everything clearly, offered her recommendations, and genuinely cared about our opinions as we negotiated our offer.
