Where It All Began

Why Bolst Exists

It started with a conviction: that a real estate company could be a genuine force for good in its city. That belief took shape through the 90 in 90 campaign — a JLG initiative that rallied agents, clients, and vendor partners to raise funds for the Atlanta Mission over 90-day campaigns each spring. The first campaign raised $90,000, matched by the Atlanta Mission to generate $180,000, and proved that real estate could be a serious force for good.

But the more we gave, the more we realized a campaign wasn't enough. Giving back couldn't be a season — it had to be the structure of the business itself. That's what led Justin Landis and his founding partners to create Bolst: a certified B Corp brokerage built from the ground up so that community impact is baked in, verified, and permanent. Today JLG channels its giving through all of Bolst's programs — because now the whole brokerage is the initiative.

The Atlanta Mission is where that story started. And each year, JLG is proud to continue as a sponsor of the Atlanta Mission 5K Race to End Homelessness — staying connected to the partnership that lit the spark.

How giving back shaped who we are

The Spark — 90 in 90

JLG launched the 90 in 90 campaign with the Atlanta Mission, donating a portion of every listing transaction over 90 days and rallying agents, clients, and vendor partners around a shared goal — raising funds for men, women, and children experiencing homelessness in Atlanta.

90 in 90 Grows

The campaign ran year after year, growing in scale and impact, ultimately raising well over $1M for the Atlanta Mission. The model proved that real estate done right could be a serious force for community good.

Bolst Is Born

Justin Landis and his founding partners created Bolst — a certified B Corp brokerage — so that community impact would no longer be a campaign. It would be the company itself: verified, accountable, and built to last.

Still Showing Up

JLG now participates in all of Bolst's giving programs and continues to sponsor the Atlanta Mission 5K Race to End Homelessness each year — staying rooted in where it all started.
